From this to this.
The garden is changing daily as time marches on. Tulips are just opening and there is a flush of pinkness outside my kitchen door. However, this week has been a very, very long week.
My Faithful Four Legged Friend is getting older and had to be rushed to the vets this week and stay in there while treatment and tests were carried out. She was allowed home with medicines and the vet ringing up as the vet acknowledged that MFFLF was upset parting from me and being away from her home.
We are taking things day to day but yesterday she had perked up enough to go for a little walk until she told us that she had had enough by pulling on her lead with her mouth. (This is her sign for telling us that she wants to return home.)
Each day brings opportunities for us to enjoy each others company and that's what counts at this moment.
Walkies............
It's a very sad thing when a furry friend has some health troubles. Warm Wishes to you and your four-legged pal.

Oh you do have my sympathy. My lovely boy is really not well and has a huge drug regime. He slipped badly on the floor her in Brittany and I now have all the bedroom rugs spread in the living room so he can get safely from his bed in front of the fire to the garden.
ReplyDeleteBut he's stll enjoying two (shortish) walks each day.

Very sorry to hear your dear pet hasn't been feeling well. So nice though that she was able to come home with you and spend some happy time together.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to see the tulips beginning to bloom. Ours are not quite there yet.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy wonderful walks with your companion. How clever of him to let you know when it's time to turn homewards.
So sorry that your faithful hound is unwell ... dogs are so stoic aren't they but I'm sure she is feeling better just for being home, good luck to her, and a get well woof and wag from my seven dogs :D
ReplyDeleteSuch a warm welcome you offer here. The flowers are exquisite!!! Thank you for stopping by! Wishing you well! Cathy
ReplyDeletePoor girl. You have a kind vet...that was nice of him/her to let you take your girl home and then check on her later. I'm so glad she was able to go for a walk even if it was a short one. Yes enjoying each others company is so important...I hope you have lots of quality time this week. Take care.
ReplyDeleteMaura :)
